xx Hands-On With Super Street Fighter IV
February 08, 2010, 12:20:09 AM by Tariq Rathore
Super Street Fighter IV over the last couple of days, and all signs point to it being a worthy followup to last year's return to form for the series. Those who were concerned about this edition being a mere cash-in shouldn't have much to worry about, as it features plenty of new fighters, modes, and moves...basically everything you'd want in a new edition of Street Fighter.

xx Samurai Shodown: Edge of Destiny
January 25, 2010, 02:04:08 AM by Tariq Rathore
A localized version of Samurai Shodown: Edge of Destiny is coming to Europe this spring under the name Samurai Shodown Sen.K2, the studio behind Valhalla Knights, did the development work on this 3D Samurai Shodown game. Twenty plus characters are in the roster and that number includes favorites such as Haohmaru and Hanzo Hattori.

The real news here is Rising Star Games, not Ignition Entertainment, will publish Samurai Shodown Sen game in PAL regions. Way before Ignition took over SNK distribution in North America, they were in charge of Europe. Looks like that deal is dead since Atlus USA snapped up Metal Slug XX and Rising Star Games grabbed Samurai Shodown: Edge of Destiny. As of now, the game still hasn’t been announced for North America.

xx Tatsunoko vs Capcom: Ultimate All-Shooters?!?
January 21, 2010, 03:39:53 AM by Tariq Rathore
When Tatsunoko vs Capcom: Cross Generation of Heroes shipped in Japan, it came with a mini game for every single character packed in. That sounds nice, but the reality is that all but two or three of these mini games were throw-away waggle fests that you never wanted to play again after getting your Shop points for unlocking colors and characters. The one standout mini game of the bunch belonged to sexy Lost Planet mecha "PTX-40A". It played like a top down shoot-em-up with full rotation of your PTX, fighting hoards of bugs from the Lost Planet series. So, its pretty exciting to hear that the international release of TvC will be coming packed with an updated version of this mini game, dubbed "Ultimate All-Shooters". This time, it looks like it a whole standalone Wii-ware game, packed in for free with your TvC. On behalf of all Gunbird 2 and Cannon Spike fans, Capcom, we thank you!

January 21, 2010, 03:27:44 AM by Tariq Rathore
Today a few scansfrom the latest Famitsu Magazine have surfaced unveiling news that Dead or Alive: Paradise from Tecmo will be making its way to Sony's PSP console.

However, it's just a port of the game of the same name released for Japanese cell phones in late 2006, one which lets you play mini games with the girls, as you continue to purchase even skimpier outfits for them.

DOA Paradise is scheduled for a Spring 2010 release in Japan and is a single-player only experience.
